Effective July 17, 2022 - until further notice, the following are provisions for Overseas Travelers By the Surat Edaran (SE) Satgas Covid-19 No. 22 / 2022 concerning Health Protocols for Overseas Travel during the Pandemic Period Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The following is a list of airports/Entrances to Indonesia:
- Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten.
- Juanda Airport, Surabaya, East Java.
- Sam Ratulangi Airport, Manado, North Sulawesi.
- I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport, Denpasar, Bali.
- Raja Haji Fisabilillah Airport, Tanjungpinang, Riau Islands.
- Hang Nadim Airport, Batam, Riau Islands.
- Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Airport, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
- Kualanamu Airport, Medan, North Sumatra.
- Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, Makassar, South Sulawesi.
- Yogyakarta Airport, Kulon Progo, Yogyakarta Special Region.
- Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport, Aceh.
- Minangkabau Airport, West Sumatra.
- Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport, South Sumatra.
- Adisumarmo Airport, Central Java.
- Syamsuddin Noor Airport, South Kalimantan.

The entry point for PPLN involved in the hajj program and opened within the period of June 4, 2022 to August 15, 2022:
- Aceh - Sultan Iskandar Muda (BTJ)
- Padang - Minangkabau (PDG)
- Palembang - Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II (PLM)
- Solo - Adi Sumarmo (SOC)
- Banjarmasin - Syamsudin Noor (BDJ)
- Balikpapan - Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman,Sepinggan (BPN)
Following are the Indonesian Entry Requirements:
1. All passengers (Indonesian and foreign nationals) are not required to show a negative RT-PCR test result taken in the country of origin before departure.
2. International travelers are allowed to enter Indonesia by following the protocol under the requirements below:
- Passengers are required to show a card/certificate (physical or digital) having received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine at least 14 (fourteen) days before departure as a requirement to enter Indonesia with the following conditions:
- Indonesian citizens who have not received the vaccine will be vaccinated at the entry point for overseas travel after a symptom check has been carried out at the entry point upon arrival or the quarantine place after an RT-PCR examination is carried out on the 4th day of quarantine with negative results.
- Foreigners who are already in Indonesia and will travel domestically and internationally are required to vaccinate through a program or cooperation scheme in accordance with the provisions of the legislation.
- The card/certificate (physical or digital) has received the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine written in English, in addition to the language of the country of origin.
3. The obligation to show a Covid-19 vaccination card/certificate (physical or digital) is excluded for:
- Foreigners who hold diplomatic and service visas related to official/state visits of foreign officials at the ministerial level and above and foreigners who enter Indonesia under the Travel Corridor Arrangement scheme.
- Foreigners who have not been vaccinated and intend to travel domestically to continue their journey with international flights out of Indonesian territory, as long as they do not leave the airport area during transit while waiting for the international flight to be followed, provided that:
- It has been authorized by the local Port Health Office (KKP)
- Shows the schedule of flight tickets out of Indonesia for direct transit from the departure city to the international airport in the territory of Indonesia with the final destination to the destination country.
- Passengers under 18 years old
- Passengers who have finished carrying out Covid-19 isolation or treatment and have been declared inactive to transmit Covid-19 but have not been able to get a second dose of vaccination, provided that they attach a certificate of not actively transmitting Covid-19 from the Government Hospital of the country of departure or the Ministry of Health.
- Passengers with special health conditions or comorbid diseases that prevent them from receiving vaccines, provided that they are required to attach a doctor's certificate from the Government Hospital of the country of departure stating that the person concerned has not and/or cannot take the Covid-19 vaccination.
4. 5-day quarantine for passengers who have not been vaccinated or have just received the 1st dose of vaccine (re-test RT-PCR on the 4th day).
5. Quarantine free for passengers who have been fully vaccinated or received a booster.
6. Passengers under 18 years of age and/or requiring special protection must follow the quarantine rules that apply to their parents or carers/travel companions.
7. Passengers with particular health conditions or comorbid diseases that cause the traveler to have not and/or are unable to participate in the Covid-19 vaccination, are allowed to continue the journey.
